About Me

You know that one kid in art class who sort of did whatever they wanted, despite the rest of the class having to learn how to "shade an apple" or something similar? That was me.

Ever since I can remember, I’ve more or less marched to the beat of my own drum. I was really into cars in high school, and the car magazines I picked up at the grocery store are what birthed my inspiration for photography. Getting to see things I had never seen, in places I had never been, was—in every sense of the word—“goals.”

Fast forward: college, a corporate career, and many children later, I finally took the leap I wasn’t able to take when I was young and bought my first camera. Later that year, I photographed my first couple of weddings and went on to start my photography business to support my kids and pursue this long-lost idea I had. Fifteen years, 1,200 weddings, and now videography later—here we are.

I enjoy travel without a purpose, love dogs, cheap tickets to a nighttime baseball game, movies at the theatre and spending time on the west coast. I can be pretty competitive too, having grown up playing video games non-stop with my brother and having an ongoing debate about who was better (he later went on to play in MLG and confirmed who was actually better).

Who am I for? Couples who value experience, direction, punctuality, and clear communication—someone who has a hand in the planning process and believes the wedding day should be about you and the moments that matter most. Your wedding day isn’t about me, but I’m here to help you remember it and feel confident about the decisions you’ve made leading up to this point.
